COVID is shinning a spotlight on social injustices and disparities towards minority communities that were around long before the arrival of this virus. Some of these injustices and disparities include lack of adequate education, jobs, housing, and healthcare.

Current data suggest racial and ethnic minority populations are experiencing disproportionate impacts and worst health outcomes from COVID-19. A public health crisis such as COVID-19 further amplifies the higher mortality rates in minority communities.
Without relevant information and adequate testing for the COVID-19 virus, the rate of infection and spread will continue throughout our communities. Without access to relevant resources, individuals will face overwhelming odds in safeguarding themselves, loved ones and neighbors.
