Computer Literacy Program

The Computer Literacy Program teaches basic operations of the computer systems as well as Internet exploration. This course helps participants to become familiar with the computer in an effort to help them develop job skills as well. The Computer Literacy Program has helped approximately twenty-one youth this year. The demand for this type of program is great. Presently, we have a waiting list of twenty-five adult applicants who have expressed a desire to learn about computers. Unfortunately, we have not been able to secure necessary funding to start this program. The Computer Literacy class is taught on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Special thanks goes to the Willis Knighton Health System for funding our youth Computers Literacy Program for this year.
